My Story.

I graduated from Norland College in 2011 with a diploma in Childcare and Education and began my career as a nanny for several wonderful families. My work took me across the world, giving me the privilege of supporting children and parents within a wide range of cultures, family structures, and environments. These experiences taught me that every family is unique and that understanding different values, routines, and ways of life is essential when supporting both children and parents. I learned to quickly recognise the individual pressures families face and appreciate how factors such as daily routines, travel, work commitments, family dynamics, and personal values can influence a child’s sleep and overall wellbeing.

Alongside my work, friends and families, both in Switzerland and beyond often reached out to me for advice. Again and again, the conversations circled back to the same theme: sleep. I realised that what many parents needed wasn’t necessarily a full-time nanny or maternity nurse, but reliable, compassionate guidance to help them navigate their child’s sleep in a way that works for the whole family.

Wanting to deepen my knowledge and better support the families I worked with, I trained and qualified as an OCN Level 6 Holistic Sleep Coach. I immediately connected with the approach. It’s not just about a child’s sleep, but about supporting the wellbeing of the whole family. Combining evidence-based science with connection, empathy, and respect, it aligned perfectly with the values that had shaped my work throughout my career. This philosophy continues to guide the way I support families today.
